Ferrite PTS Core

They have the same footprint, but less protection/shielding than Pot cores. There is a good spacing between the cores to control the AL values. These are available in many sizes, including PT1408, PT1811, and TS1408. They are used in application of Broadband and narrow transformers / telecom inductors, power transformers, and output chokes (5 times greater switching frequency than standard ferrite) are some examples of PTS RS core uses.s
